My Philosophy

The core of my practice is to center pregnant and birthing people of all genders, races, body types, abilities, and families with alternative structures. I don't come with preconceived ideas about what you should do or want. Instead, I listen to you and work to create the experience you want during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care and when accessing abortion services.

I believe medical literacy is a big part of empowerment. In my work as a birth doula, I help you to tap into the wisdom of your own intuition. If you find I am a good fit for you, we will work together to prepare a birth plan that supports your vision, goals, and needs. Working from this shared understanding, I will offer the best support I possibly can so that we invite in attunement and guidance on birth day. All the choices you make are your own. I am the person who will be by your side, giving you guidance and helping you to make the most of this rich and transformative experience.

I became a birth doula in 2016. At the time, I was also working as an abortion doula while finishing my degree in nursing.

As an RN I have worked in hospitals, at Planned Parenthood, and providing telehealth care at an online abortion clinic. I cherish the work of sexual and reproductive health because I believe that when you have full autonomy over your decisions, it opens the way for healing and a deeper connection with yourself.
